Shrinking share counts: companies buying back the most stock

Large US companies whose diluted share count fell the most in their latest fiscal year, a sign of net share buybacks, from SEC filings.

The rule: Public float of $10B or more; diluted share count down at least 2% in the latest fiscal year. Ranked by the size of the decline. 181 companies qualify; the top 100 are shown. Figures are from each company's latest annual report on SEC EDGAR, so fiscal years end on different dates. A ranked screen of filed numbers, not investment advice.
